Australian BodyShop News is a fresh, in-depth and professional magazine aimed at owners, operators and managers of motor body shops.
The end user as well as the decision maker is kept in touch with the latest in equipment available, up-to-date news and technical stories from Australia and around the world.

Who are the people of Australian BodyShop News?


Michel A. Malik has more than 25 years of combined experience in motoring, publishing, editorial, advertising and sales. A motoring journalist, Michel was previously editor of the trade journal Australasian Paint & Panel before setting up Australian BodyShop News with a vision for a hard hitting – yet truly purposeful – high quality and free publication, reaching every body shop in Australia.

Michel is a founding member and a regular speaker at the highly regarded ‘International Bodyshop Industry Symposium’ (IBIS).

Michel is constantly in touch with what is going on in the industry through personal contacts as well as his visits to most of the trade fairs and conferences throughout the world and many invitations to the various clients’ manufacturing plants.

Michel also prepares and presents the weekly motoring radio programme The World On Wheels every Saturday morning from 9:30 to 11:00am on Sydney radio station 2SER-FM 107.3.

David Cook is also editor of BodyShop News Asia and has 40 years of experience in the publishing world, as a photographer, editor and publisher in the motoring world. He brings a great depth of experience to this magazine.

Albert Malik is Motoring Editor of Australian BodyShop News and is part of The World On Wheels weekly motoring radio programme as a producer and broadcaster. Albert holds a Bachelor of Communications degree in Journalism.

Who is behind BodyShop News Asia?


BodyShop News Publications Pty Ltd is the company behind this new and exciting publication. The publishing and broadcasting company, which also publishes Australian BodyShop News (see above), is headed by Michel A. Malik, who has more than 25 years of combined experience in motoring, publishing, editorial advertising and sales.

Publisher Michel Malik is currently the Publisher of sister magazine Australian BodyShop News and heads its editorial and advertising team. He will also be heading the team of journalists and contributors from all over South East Asia for BodyShop News Asia.
